Check out this Flickr photo story. Mike Beauchamp, the man with the mighty iPhone, made the mistake of leaving his iPhone on the trunk of his car. After driving for a while, he realized his phone was nowhere to be found. To make a long story short, he found his iPhone, in the center of the interstate. Before he could retrieve it, he watched a Semi-Truck run it over. Oh the humanity. I have dropped my phone a time or two, and it is fine. That is more than I can say about my own Blackberry Pearl. I dropped that one day, and the faceplate shattered. I knew the iPhone was tough, but I did not know it was Semi-truck tough. What is the worst you have put your iPhone through? Did it survive? The worse I’ve ever put my iPhone through is a 2 mile drive on the top of the car. Thanks to some very smoooooooth driving it was none the worse for wear..although I don’t admit I forget it was there to anyone in public!
I have dropped my iPhone, then intellectually went to stop it with my foot and ended up essentially drop-kicking it down a stair case. Still works great!
