The new iPhone, which is at this point is almost a given, may not be all that bad. According to a recent Computer World test, AT&T’s 3G data network is the best.
This week’s Web App isn’t a Web App. It isn’t even an App; it is, however, one of the best ideas I have heard for a practical use for an iPhone ever.
The greatest trick the 3G iPhone ever pulled is convincing the world that it didn’t exist, but I digress, this is not your usual 3G iPhone rumor that you have come to suspect.
This is not another 3G iPhone rumor. After all, there is more to iPhones and iPhone blogs than rampant speculation that some new hardware revision might or might not be coming. No sir, this will not be another 3G rumor post.
I know, it is such a suprise, but it seems that *yawn* a 3G iPhone is in fact coming. This screenshot was dug out of the newest firmware revision by the fine folks over at macupdate.com.
Guess what I am doing right now? I am watching 30 Rock on my iPhone. I didn’t buy it on iTunes, I didn’t get the Torrent, it is just right there streaming on my little screen. Despite what I think, I am not special, NBC is just kind.

Colorado (AP) - If that byline/dateline means anything to you, then this week’s web app is meant for you. The Associated Press has designed a very sleek and sexy (for news that is) front end for their news site. If you are into the news, then the Associated Press site will serve you well.
This week is looking up. Not only do we have a great week ahead on television, but we also have a great, cheap movie rental. One of my all-time favorite movies, A Fish Called Wanda (Warning - iTunes link), is for rent from iTunes for only a buck.
There is a report circulating the internets that confirms that the 3G iPhone is going to be alive and well in Austria. It will be offered by T-Mobile, and it will be available soon. |
